New Special Enrollment Period

Open enrollment for individual health insurance is not over! Covered California is offering a special enrollment period through April 30, 2020, to people who recently learned about financial help through the new state premium assistance. It is also available for people who did not know about the new California state tax penalty. As a reminder, starting this year, California brought back the mandate that individuals have health coverage or else pay a California state tax penalty.
